The trophy was handed by the chairman of the Rio de Janeiro Professional Journalists Union Azis Filho. |

During the 2005 the Embratel Press Award gala evening, a special tribute was paid to the photographic reporters from all over the country, represented by four veteran professionals: Luis Pinto (recently deceased), Sebastião Marinho, Alberto Jacob and Alaor Barreto (deceased before the tribute and represented by his son Alaor Filho, a photographic reporter himself). They received the special trophies from the hands of their children, photographic professionals themselves. Alaor Filho received the tribute on behalf of his father from the hands of his daughter Fernanda Caetano. |
