Finalists
The finalists of the 17 categories of the eighth Embratel Press Award, that will distribute the gross amount of R$ 166 thousand for up to 19 works, have been announced on November 22.
This year, 1,131 journalistic works have been presented by 1,306 reporters from all over the country. The prizewinners of the 17 categories and of the Barbosa Lima Sobrinho Grand Prix, plus a possible nomination for an Honorable Mention, will be announced in the evening of December 6, during a ceremony to be held at Canecão in Rio de Janeiro.
